The Challenge

Big Stage, Bigger Expectations

Overview

When Husky asked us to help them make a splash at DrinkTec in Munich (Sept 15–19, 2025), we knew we’d be stepping onto one of the biggest stages in the industry. With over 1,100 exhibitors spread across 74,000 m² of show space, the bar was sky high.

The challenge was twofold:

  • Ambition + Timeline: We weren’t just building one demo, we were building an entire suite of interactive experiences, and guest experience throughout the booth, all on a tight deadline.
  • Complexity: Each experience had moving parts that needed to play together perfectly: live hardware, gamified product kiosks, cinematic storytelling, and immersive theater environments.
  • Team Unity: This project required every corner of our team; design, motion, video, tech, dev, PMs—firing on all cylinders, communicating constantly, and solving problems quickly.

At the heart of it, Husky wanted something unforgettable. An experience that would live with attendees long after the trade show lights dimmed.

The Solution

A Story Told in Every Pixel

We came together like a true creative machine, mixing storytelling with technology to showcase Husky’s brand and innovation in ways they had never done before.

  1. HyPET-6e Demo: Our video team storyboarded for months to bring Husky’s phoenix-and-ember branding to life in a cinematic launch film that did more than just dazzle, it educated. The 3D animation broke down the HyPET6e system’s capabilities in a way that was both visually striking and technically clear, helping attendees understand the machine’s efficiency, precision, and innovation in action. It set the tone for the booth; bold, fiery, and unforgettable, while giving context to everything visitors experienced next.
  2. rPET Knowledge Center: The first major stop in the booth’s user flow, this 360° circular theater surrounded by six interactive kiosks introduced visitors to Husky’s commitment to sustainability, a core brand pillar. The experience guided guests through six chapters;  from advocacy and global adoption to pellet comparison and plant design via games, data visualizations, and video content. The layout supported multiple conversations at once, giving Husky’s team space to engage personally with visitors while maintaining high throughput. It embodied Husky’s leadership in sustainable manufacturing and made complex information approachable and inspiring.
  3. Advantage+Elite Monitoring Center: A dual-screen setup where visitors stepped directly into the customer’s point of view to experience Husky’s proactive service model firsthand. Through interactive alert scenarios and live impact reports, users could feel what it’s like to be supported by Husky’s “We Call You” service. This experience transformed an intangible concept — customer care and operational excellence — into something visitors could see, touch, and understand. It showcased the human side of Husky’s technology and proved that great service is every bit as innovative as great machinery.
  4. Tooling Transparent Experience: A live Husky machine encased in glass with projected UI overlays, letting attendees “control” the machine through a futuristic transparent interface that merged the physical and digital worlds.

Behind the Scenes - Engineering the Wow

Our tech team brought this project to life with creative problem-solving and serious innovation.

  1. Phoenix Metaphor: To visualize Husky's commitment to sustainability and personify their mission of recycling PET material leading to a circular economy, our team brainstormed and crafted a striking Phoenix graphic package that underlined the whole booth
  2. Seamless Tour Mode: To connect all six kiosk screens with the massive LED screen above, the team collaborated closely with AV partners to build a sophisticated networking system. The result? Perfectly synchronized playback across seven screens with audio and video in flawless alignment for both live demos and guided tours.
  3. The Digital Twin: For the live tooling experience, precision was everything. We created a 1:1 digital twin of the entire booth in VR which allowed our designers, developers, and the clients to walk through the space virtually long before the physical setup. This let us fine-tune placement, alignment, and spatial flow early, and ultimately gave Husky confidence in the design and build before anything was physically built.

The REsult

Impact You Could Feel

The result was pure energy. Husky’s booth became one of the can’t-miss destinations of DrinkTec:

  • The r-PET Knowledge Center alone ran six kiosks at once, keeping the booth buzzing while still allowing for tour mode.
  • The exhibit designs and our overall strategy to the booth layout allowed thousands of visitors to flow through
  • The Tooling Transparent Experience gave Husky a platform to tell a complete, connected Tool story, something they said they had never been able to do before.
  • Feedback was glowing, from the Husky team to show attendees. Many called it the most engaging and memorable booth Husky had ever built.
  • Our direct clients received a standing ovation from the rest of their peers for all their hard work and dedication to creating such an amazing experience.
  • Most importantly, it left visitors walking away not just with information, but with a feeling, that Husky is a company rooted in operational excellence, innovation, and customer-first care.
  • Every one of these exhibits is now being optimized and designed to work for smaller trade shows, Husky's HQ, and business development laptops so the ROI can continue beyond the show.

As a team, this project reminded us why we love what we do. It was a difficult one, with tight deadlines, lots of moving parts. But every late-night testing hardware, every design iteration, every bug fix brought us closer to something we were proud to deliver. The joy we had working together with our team and the individual clients, showed up in the final product, and that’s what made it so special.
